Creatures of the Sun

Scarab rolls its ball of dung
inseminating it with its young.
Its capriccio rises to the dawn.
Its immortality the rising sun.

Hawk then soars above the land:
over rivers, mountains, oceans, sands.
And elightens us with its rays.
Hawk will guide your way.

Dusk then falls upon the snake
who apostates without mistake.
And onto autumn the setting song
until darkness rebirths the dawn
